Tandemic is a social innovation lab. We are here to create new and better approaches to solving tough social problems in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia. We “build to think” — our success doesn’t come through producing a report that sits in someone’s desk but by creating new products, services, and even business models that have a meaningful impact on improving peoples’ lives.
The organisations we work with include international development agencies, social enterprises, government, and private businesses such as UNDP, MaGIC, Agensi Inovasi Malaysia, Novo Nordisk, Standard Chartered, and UNICEF.
What is it like to work at Tandemic? There is a tremendous diversity of projects and people. We are passionate about social change. We are both thinkers and doers. Learning is constant — you will be taking “deep dives” into wide variety of issue areas. You will be interacting with everyone from clients in down offices to mothers in PPR flats.
Research & Design Manager

The Research & Design Manager will also work on translating insights into actionable initiatives to be tested with key stakeholders. This work enables our partners and clients to carry through new solutions to social challenges into robust and appropriate implementations.
There aren’t any permanent positions open with us at the moment, however, we are always keen to meet passionate social changemakers and design thinkers who would like to join our team.
