Training & Development Practice

Our Training & Development Practice provides workshops and capacity development programmes in design thinking and lean startup. We create transformation journeys that build an entrepreneurial environment even in established organisations, help staff innovate around user needs, and make use of rapid prototyping to develop products that respond to deep user truths. Clients include Sime Darby, Maxis, MaGIC, Ministry of Youth & Sports Malaysia, and Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation Malaysia.

Consulting Practice

Our Consulting Practice works with organisations to research, design, and prototype social innovations. We work alongside our clients to create meaningful social change by developing strategy, shedding light on complex ecosystems through research, and validating new solutions. Clients include UNICEF, Novo Nordisk/Ministry of Health Malaysia, UNESCAP, UNDP. Tandemic is looking for a Workshop Facilitator & Producer

We’re on the lookout for someone who can work with us as a digital project manager. You enjoy managing projects, you care about social causes, and you’re looking for an organisation that you can grow with over time. 

Once you’re here, you will:

Provide project management, logistics, and community management, such as developing and managing timelines, providing speaker and participant management

Conduct detailed workshop project planning which includes creating a project timeline, breaking down tasks/ activities, setting key milestones, etc

Manage and support the team’s manpower and project allocation across the organisation

Create and manage overall project timelines, anticipating next steps and following up on previous steps

Develop and maintain positive relationship with clients

Produce reports and other final outputs for workshops and projects (e.g. create client presentations)

Digital Project Manager Requirements:

Organised and detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines for developing trainings

A digital native familiar with tools like Google Docs, Powerpoint, and Google Sheets

Preferably a background in the non-profit/ social sector

Outstanding written, proofreading and communication skills in English

Organised and detail-oriented, able to make sure we’re not forgetting or missing out on anything across many different projects

Ability to adapt to uncertainties and variables by creating a realistic action plan

Ability to prioritise and complete duties to a high professional standard within established timeframes

Have a stable, fast internet connection and computer to handle video calls, large files

Able to work night shifts (occasionally)
